Honor Society

 

National Vocational-Technical Honor SocietyTennessee Technology Center at Harriman has hosted a chartered chapter of the National Technical Honor Society since April 5, 1993. Students who join NTHS are making an important career investment because NTHS is highly respected by business, industry, and education.

 

 

All Honor Society members pledge to:

 

 

Maintain the highest standard of personal and professional contact at all times.

 

Strive for excellence in all aspects of education and employment.

 

Refuse to engage in or condone activities for personal gain at the expense of fellow students, school, or employer.

 

Support the mission and purposes of NV-THS while working to achieve the objectives and goals of the Society.

 

Fulfill obligations as a citizen of a community and country.

 

Interested in joining?

 

Student candidates should be persons who have demonstrated scholastic achievement, skill development, leadership, honesty, responsibility, and good character. All candidates must be approved by the school administration and must meet criteria as determined by the center. Meetings are held monthly or more often when service projects are underway.
