Things you need to know about supplemental courses

Tennessee Technology Center at Harriman specializes in short-term training at affordable prices. TTC-Harriman affords all individuals 18 years of age and older the opportunity to improve or upgrade present skills and increase technical knowledge. Hands-on experience in the classroom and qualified instructors are keys for a successful training experience.

Tuition is paid at registration time. Course textbooks are usually sold in the TTC bookstore on the first night of class. Priority registration is encouraged, as there must be a minimum number of students enrolled to conduct each course. If it becomes necessary to cancel a course because of low enrollment, all registered students will receive a full refund of fees paid. If you must drop a class before it begins, come by the Student Services Office to complete the required drop forms. After the first night of class, if eligible, you must request a partial refund. Any payment will be made in accordance with the TN Technology Center at Harriman's published policies. Federal Financial Aid (Pell Grant) and the Wilder-Naifeh Technical Skills Grant (TN lottery) are not available for these courses.

Following the end of the course, each student will be awarded a certificate that serves as documentation of the successful completion, the training hours attended, and a grade report (as appropriate). Official transcripts are available upon request.
